“Mary of Nazareth Speaks to Women of Today”, presented by Susan Stabile

Mary occupies a special place in Catholic tradition. Although some feminists over the years have viewed Mary critically, the reality is that women of today can learn a lot from her about what it means to fully say “yes” to God.  While our ultimate model for discipleship is MARY’S son Jesus, spending time with, and learning from, Mary helps deepen our growth in God and Christ.

This retreat day offers an opportunity to consider what women of today can learn from Mary, helping us to see her as a model for how all persons of faith should respond to God’s invitation, by listening, discerning, and trusting in God.  The day will include talks by the presenter, and time for individual reflection as well as sharing.
