The Beatitudes proclaim our emotions are an opportunity.  We can receive blessings and the deepest life from the deepest hurts.  When we or someone we love experiences pain\, is insulted\, persecuted or suffers injustice\, we can join Jesus as He lived each Beatitude. He desires to heal and gift us now with new life in our struggles. As we are healed\, we can become peacemakers walking with others in their worst times just as a recovered alcoholic is gifted to help another alcoholic. This is God’s promise\, “In everything God works for good with those who love him”(Rm 8:28).  Join us as we explore the Promises of the Beatitudes. \n\n\n\n\n\nCheck-in after 4 PM on Friday\, July 17; Retreat ends after lunch on Sunday\, July 19
