We have a wide range of facilities to handle all of your conference needs. We’ve been been making groups both large and small feel comfortable while they are seeking peace at retreats, conferences, and events.
Conference Rooms
DeMazenod Hall
Seats approximately 130 people
This room also has wireless internet access, LCD projector and large screen for presentations in addition to DVD/VHS capability.
Breakout Rooms A-D
Seats approximately 8-10 or 15-20 people
We offer two sets of breakout rooms for smaller groups to gather and discuss.
The rooms can be configured depending on the situation.
Blue Room
Seats approximately 70 people
Most retreat conferences are held in the Blue Room.
This room has a beautiful view of Buffalo Lake.
Small Conference Room
Seats approximately 6 people
Located in the Lethert House, this room reveals a glimpse of the original beauty of the retreat center.
This area provides the original cornerstone and foundation for our present day retreat center.
Garden Court
Quiet
According to an Ojibwa Indian legend, Dabinawa is the name given to the area on which the Retreat House is located. Dabinawa is an Ojibwa word meaning a place of shelter… peace… quiet… solitude.
Spacious
This spacious room with its luxurious greenery, bubbling fountain and beautiful lake view solicits an atmosphere of “Dabinawa”.
Solitude
Christ the King Retreat Center truly provides a place of peace, quiet and solitude… a sacred space for meditation and contemplation.
Dining Rooms
Dining Service
Our food service staff serves delicious, well-balanced meals.
We also have 2 kitchenettes with a refrigerator and microwave for guest use as well we coffee/cappuccino near each conference room.
Special Meal Requests
We are able to provide vegetarian and/or gluten-free meals upon request. Special meal requests should be made at least 2-weeks prior to the start of your retreat.
Our Dining Rooms
Bishop’s Dining Room
Seats approximately 6-10
This smaller dining room serves as a quiet place for those on private retreat to dine.
Main Dining Room
Seats approximately 72
This dining room is used for our retreats.
Located just above the Blue Room overlooks the splendid Buffalo Lake.
Staff Dining Room
Seats approximately 46
We have the extra space for larger groups when the main dining room is filled to capacity.
Bookstore/Gift Shop
While you are at King’s House, come to the Gift Shop. We have all sorts of items to make your stay here even more enjoyable.

Sleeping Rooms
Christ the King Retreat Center has 132 sleeping accommodations (63 double rooms; 6 single rooms.) All but four rooms have private baths.
Accessible
Our facility is handicapped accessible, and we have handicapped accessible bedrooms that are also available.
Wonderful View
Most of our rooms face beautiful Buffalo Lake. Enjoy the scenery after a comfortable nights rest.
Library
The library has spiritual reading books, videotapes, and CD’s (including a CD player and headphones) for your use during your stay.

All of the resources have been recently re-categorized and computerized by two generous volunteers.

There are directives above the computer to show you how to find a selection by author, title and/or theme. You can simply review the books we have in our library online.
