The Beatitudes Blessed Are They Who…

At the heart of the teaching of Jesus is the Sermon on the Mount.

At the heart of the Sermon on the Mount are the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12). Jesus asks that we see the world in a new way where weakness is strength and poverty is wealth. We seek to embrace this challenging vision during our retreats in 2026.

Our Retreat Format includes:Celebration of the Eucharist; Reconciliation, Conferences, Scriptural Rosary, Healing Service (includes Anointing of the Sick), Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Silent Time, Opportunity for Individual Spiritual Direction.

Oblates Motto

“He has sent me to bring Good News to the Poor...The Poor have heard the Good News”

The spirit of St. Eugene is inspired by Isaiah 61:1.

Christ the King Retreat Center is a ministry of our community, The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. We are the eleventh largest order of religious men in the Roman Catholic Church with over 3,800 priests and brothers serving in 68 countries.

Christ the King Retreat Center is one of four major retreat centers that we operate in the United States. Wherever we are, our mission is to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who have had the least opportunity to hear it.

Our community was founded in 1826 in Aix en Provence, France, by St. Eugene de Mazenod. He has been called the patron of dysfunctional families.
