Spiritual Direction is for those who desire to grow in prayer.
Seek to become more aware of God’s presence in your life and desire to know yourself in relationship to God.
With the current global health situation, members of the Preaching Team have been communicating with and doing Spiritual Direction using virtual platforms such as Zoom and Facetime. In-person spiritual direction is also available.
Spiritual Directors
All members of the preaching team at King’s House are “Spiritual Directors”, i.e., men and women who have received formative training in the spiritual life, human development, theology, scripture, as well as supervision in the ministry of spiritual direction. They value their own spiritual journey and are trained in listening to the impact that life has on the spirit.
A spiritual director will assist you in hearing and trusting your inner wisdom (the place where God is with you) and to respond to that presence.
You are invited to meet with a spiritual director as frequently as mutually determined after an initial meeting, typically for an hour about once a month. The suggested offering for spiritual direction is $40-$60 her hour, according to your means, or whatever offering you are able to make.
