What’s New? (Fall 2015/Winter 2016)

“Our lift in the corner of the garden court which helps people descend to the red brick corridor went on life support in early October. I gave it last rites in mid-October as the cost to bringing this 17 year old mechanism back to life was prohibitive. After consulting with a few of our advisors we made the decision that it would be more cost effective to have a new lift installed. The cost is $18.000.00. If there is any way you can help with this we would appreciate it!”

What’s New? (Spring 2015)

“August 15, 1965 was typically warm and humid day in Godfrey, IL. The Feast of the Assumption was the day that I and 18 of my classmates were longing for. It marked the end of a yearlong novitiate experience when we were totally cut off from the world to concentrate on our spiritual growth and prepare ourselves for our first profession as Missionary Oblates. While August 15 was the end of one reality it was also the official beginning of my vowed life as a Missionary Oblate.”
